Senior Linux Systems Administrator

Senior Linux Systems Administrator

The senior system administrator supports MeetingOne and its clients by making sure systems are up all the time and that the customer has the best possible experience. This position requires technical expertise to support networks and systems needed in day-to-day operations, experience and knowledge of VOIP systems, installation, configuration, and administration of Linux, Windows, VMware ESX\ESXI servers, file systems, and Office 365. In addition, the position will require interaction with customers that report issues. You will take on customer (internal and external) technical support issues and investigate them fully to resolution, keeping the customer and management in the loop at every step of the way. You are results orientated and have excellent customer facing etiquette. You are happy when our customers are happy.

Responsibilities :

  • Support our users, systems and software.
  • Design, configure, administer and support application, network, and telecom systems and services.
  • Implement network failover/redundancy options and features.
  • Firewall configuration and administration.
  • Follow company processes and policies for systems/service deployments. Suggest improvements based on your experiences and best practices.
  • Mentor other members of the team.
  • Participate in the design of new products and service.
  • Maintain internal documentation of new and existing systems.

Minimum Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Four to Six years of Help Desk and/or Desktop Support experience.

Lead Developer and Architect

Lead Developer and Architect

Reporting to the Director of IT and Product Development, the lead developer will be responsible for our full stack architecture (Angular, Java, MySql, Apache), will have ownership of all business systems, will seek to maintain 5 nines up time of all software systems. The full stack developer will coach other team members, implement best practices within the team and implement effective code delivery strategies with the in-house operations team for each part of the stack.

The lead developer will also be working closely with the Product manager and his QA team.

Responsibilities :

  • Operate in an Agile SDLC framework as an architect/lead developer.
  • Ability to aid the sprint teams in maintaining engineering velocity.
  • Track and report on team progress throughout the sprints
  • Architect and develop our next generation conferencing solutions.
