Insanely huge number.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #bb2025;\">And that&#8217;s roughly how many minutes are spent in conference call meetings most years.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Seems really important, then, that every one of those minutes is well spent!!!\u00a0<span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><strong>And do you know what we think makes\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><strong>conference call meetings successful?<\/strong><\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\">\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #f68920;\">Using a\u00a0<em>visual interface<\/em>\u00a0to rein in your calls.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">A visual interface improves all your conference call meetings. Internal conversations. Sales presentations. Department calls. They&#8217;ll all go better if you use a visual interface.\u00a0<strong>But what is a visual interface?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A visual interface is an online app that syncs up with your conference calls and provides a virtual representation of what&#8217;s going on. You can see your call! And you can manage\u00a0attendees and their interactions from your computer.<\/p>\n<p>As a VP of Business Development, I&#8217;ve noticed that my conference calls are far more productive when I use a visual interface. So, I want to share with you the solution I use:\u00a0<strong><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><a style=\"color: #bb2025;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/eu-nl\/audioone\/clickmeet\/\">Click&amp;Meet<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>I could talk about how I\u2019ve used Click&amp;Meet for days. I use every at every opportunity. I want to give you some ideas\u00a0so you can have better calls, too.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Let\u2019s look at four examples where visual interfaces lead to better conference call meetings.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\">4 Examples\u00a0of Why a Visual Interface Rules!<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">#1. \u00a0Prepping Presenters in Sub-Conference Rooms<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>If you have a special presenter coming in for a call (or even if it\u2019s just a team member sharing on an important topic), it can be extremely beneficial for them to call in early to revisit the agenda for the meeting or discuss any technical issues.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the problem: How do you avoid early birds from listening in on these preparations?<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you need are sub-conference rooms.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/ClickMeet-Sub-Conference-Rooms.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-12734\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12734\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/ClickMeet-Sub-Conference-Rooms.png\" alt=\"Conference Call Sub Conference Rooms - up to 20!\" width=\"713\" height=\"411\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Click&amp;Meet offers\u00a0<strong>up to 20<\/strong>\u00a0sub-conference rooms isolated from the\u00a0main audio room during a call.\u00a0 Each is accessible in the virtual interface, and you can preset the amount you want before starting them up. \u00a0There are two ways to move speakers into a sub-conference room:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><strong>Manually:\u00a0<\/strong>Attendees, identified by little avatars, can be selected by your mouse and moved into these rooms.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><strong>Automatically:\u00a0<\/strong>Before you dial-out to a speaker (using &#8220;Call a Participant&#8221;), you can configure their profile to automatically place them in a sub-conference room.<strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Sub-conf-feature.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-13098\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13098\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/Sub-conf-feature.jpg\" alt=\"better conference call meetings with Click&amp;Meet\" width=\"566\" height=\"655\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Typically, these sub-conference rooms are used for brainstorming, team meeting break-outs, and small group collaboration, but\u00a0the space\u00a0also works perfectly for prepping a speaker before a call.<\/p>\n<p><strong>On the separate line\u00a0of the sub-conference room, you can discuss everything that\u2019s relevant to the call\u2014without worrying if someone will hear these talks.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">#2. \u00a0\u201cCrowd Control\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><strong>Three of the most common complaints lodged\u00a0against conference call meetings:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>1) People talking over each other.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>2) Background noise disrupting a call.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>3) People perpetually trapped on mute.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h6><\/h6>\n<p>Fortunately, we don&#8217;t need riot gear to curb bad phone habits.\u00a0 In fact, what you need is a better way to manage the conversation.\u00a0\u00a0<strong><span style=\"color: #225d71;\">You need host controlled muting.<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/CM-Blog-Featured-Image.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6723\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6723\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/CM-Blog-Featured-Image.jpg\" alt=\"Better Conference Call Meetings\" width=\"600\" height=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>But you can&#8217;t you mute folks without a visual interface?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>This is true. Call hosts can use dial pad commands to mute callers. Visual indicators also become helpful when teams are spit-balling ideas.
