Review Updated Slide Deck<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>At this stage, you should have 90% of your slide deck\u2019s text and formatting complete.\u00a0<\/strong> Review each slide to make sure the text supply an appropriate amount of information.\u00a0 You can\u2019t have a true dry run until you\u2019re satisfied with the info your speaker will present.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t take more than 10 minutes to review.\u00a0 As they say, you have bigger fish to fry during this second dry run.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><strong>Take this time to evaluate the coherency of the webinar.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Do the transitions make sense?<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Are the discussion points cohesive with the larger presentation?<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Are you doing enough to drive audience engagement in relation to your discussion sections?<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/info.meetingone.com\/hubfs\/Takeaway_documents\/DIY_Layouts-Takeaway_Worksheet.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-5210\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/DIY_Worksheet-Display.png\" alt=\"Adobe Connect Layouts for Webinar Presentations\" width=\"350\" height=\"294\" \/><\/a><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #f68920;\">#2. Set Up \u201cPlace Participants on Hold\u201d Message<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-7162\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Webinar-Dry-Run-2-Hold-Message-2.png\" alt=\"safeguard your webinar presentation\" width=\"500\" height=\"360\" \/><strong>Be aware that people will log into your webinar as early as two to three days before the event.<\/strong>\u00a0 (Don\u2019t ask me why\u2026)\u00a0 If they have the URL, they have the means to look in on your virtual room.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The last thing you want is someone to see your virtual room before the day of the event.\u00a0<\/strong> There may be final modifications you need to make, and if nothing else, you wouldn\u2019t want to have them thinking the event is already taking place\u2026and be utterly confused (or bored!).<\/p>\n<p><strong>To help avoid this issue, you will want to manage your virtual room settings to keep people from joining early.\u00a0<\/strong> Doing so a week before the webinar is advisable, as it gives you plenty of time to secure the room before anyone tests the URL.\u00a0 When you add the setting, make sure to include a message.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adobe Connect makes it easy to set up a message.\u00a0<\/strong> From within your virtual room, you click on the Meeting Tab at the top.\u00a0 Track down and hover over \u201cManage Access &amp; Entry.\u201d\u00a0 A new list will appear.\u00a0 Go to \u201cPlace Participants on Hold.\u201d This option will provide you a text box where you can put your message.\u00a0 Once you save the message, you\u2019ll have to go back in and click \u201cOkay.\u201d\u00a0 Until you start your webinar, everyone but your speaker and hosts will be on hold.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright wp-image-7167\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Webinar-Dry-Run-2-Hold-Message-3-300x197.png\" alt=\"webinar presentation hold message\" width=\"400\" height=\"262\" \/>In your message, include the following:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">The day, date and time of your webinar (don\u2019t forget to include the Time Zone)<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">The full name of the webinar<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">A friendly note to your participants thanking them for their interest in attending<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">#5. Review Takeaway Draft and Discuss Edits Needed<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>With your webinar takeaway crafted before this dry run, take ten\u00a0minutes or so to discuss any edits that may still be needed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><strong>While you evaluate your takeaway, keep these questions in mind:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Does your takeaway truly capture the purpose of your webinar?<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Are the tone and voice consistent with the webinar?<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Are the images congruent?<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><strong>Does your takeaway provide added value to the webinar&#8217;s message?<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">#6. Finish with a Full Dry Run<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>A full dry run should come last on your agenda.\u00a0<\/strong> <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-7168\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Webinar-Agenda-Blog-Image-6-300x217.jpg\" alt=\"webinar presentation dry run notes\" width=\"320\" height=\"231\" \/>It\u2019s impractical to dry run through the entire webinar presentation if you\u2019re not content with how your information is being portrayed.\u00a0 Also, revisiting your slides and layouts will help your speaker keep track of the places where they want to add emphasis or open things up for discussion.<\/p>\n<p>Take note of the places where the content seems dull, interactive pods can be added, or graphics may need to be modified.\u00a0 These records will provide you the information you need to make final revisions to your webinar presentation.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\">Preparing for the Next Webinar Dry Run<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There\u2019s always more work to do when readying a webinar. \u00a0It&#8217;s at this stage you need to start planning for the technical preparations of your webinar. \u00a0 \u00a0You may\u00a0want to evaluate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/eu-en\/services\/audio-webinar-production\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\">webinar production services\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/a><span style=\"color: #333333;\">available to you. \u00a0Allowing a\u00a0certified producer who understands the webinar platform to manage the logistics of your webinar,<\/span>\u00a0may prove to be a tremendous benefit.<\/p>\n<p>Before you hold your third and final dry run, make sure you\u2019ve completed the following related tasks:<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">\u2022 \u00a0Finalize Your Slide Deck<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>The feedback you received during your webinar dry run should be enough to make final revisions to your slide deck.<\/strong>\u00a0 Revise based on the conversation you had with your speaker.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Make sure your formatting is consistent, images are abundant throughout the presentation, and the text styles are the same.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">\u2022 \u00a0Complete the Webinar Takeaway<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>You\u2019ve received notes for the webinar takeaway, now change as needed.<\/strong>\u00a0 Make sure you\u2019re incorporating images or illustrations that relate to the webinar and are customized to reflect your business.\u00a0 Design your own illustrations, or go with unique pictures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Whatever you do, don\u2019t go with stock images.\u00a0<\/strong> There\u2019s a reason they decided to call their business <strong><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><a style=\"color: #bb2025;\" href=\"http:\/\/deathtothestockphoto.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Death to Stock<\/em><\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"padding-left: 30px;
