Call into Conference Line &amp; Move Speaker &amp;\u00a0Host into Sub-Conference Room<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>The first thing on your webinar checklist to do is start the call.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center;\"><\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #808080;\">(<\/span><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\">Note:<\/span> <span style=\"color: #808080;\">We\u2019ll be using MeetingOne\u2019s optimal\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><a style=\"color: #bb2025;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/eu-en\/audioone\/\" target=\"_blank\">AudioOne<\/a><\/span> <span style=\"color: #808080;\">and<\/span> <span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><a style=\"color: #bb2025;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/blog\/better-conference-call-meetings\/\" target=\"_blank\">Click&amp;Meet<\/a><\/span> <span style=\"color: #808080;\">as examples for how this will work.\u00a0 AudioOne is MeetingOne\u2019s solution for audio conferencing and integrating audio into Adobe Connect.\u00a0 Free with AudioOne is MeetingOne&#8217;s\u00a0visual interface, Click&amp;Meet.)<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Launch your Adobe Connect room and begin <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><a style=\"color: #ff9900;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/eu-en\/adobe-connect\/audio-integration\/\" target=\"_blank\">integrated audio<\/a><\/span> 30 mins before your live event<\/strong> &#8211; have it dial out to you for easy access. If you&#8217;ve set up your &#8220;Place Participants on Hold&#8221; in our <span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #bb2025;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/blog\/cementing-your-webinar-presentation\" target=\"_blank\">previous posts<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, you won&#8217;t have to worry about your audience joining prematurely.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5 style=\"padding-left: 90px;\"><\/h5>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-7184 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Webinar-Agenda-Blog-Image-13.png\" alt=\"Webinar checklist sub-conference room\" width=\"226\" height=\"188\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Log into your <span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><a style=\"color: #bb2025;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/eu-en\/audioone\/clickmeet\/\" target=\"_blank\">Click&amp;Meet<\/a><\/span> virtual conference room to move into a sub-conference separate\u00a0from your audience.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Within Click&amp;Meet, move your speaker, production team, and yourself into a sub-conference room, either by right-clicking on their avatars or dragging it into the chosen room.\u00a0 Sub-conference rooms are isolated from the main line.\u00a0 <strong>Being isolated ensures that your pre-webinar discussions won\u2019t be heard when participants are allowed to join the webinar.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>If you decide to just go with VoIP (or really &#8211; computer microphone\/speakers), you won\u2019t have an isolated line to facilitate your pre-webinar talks.<\/strong>\u00a0 So, you\u2019ll wind up having to keep participants on hold for longer.\u00a0 The unfortunate consequence here is your audience will have less time to <strong><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><a style=\"color: #bb2025;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/blog\/webinar-dry-run-agendas-pt-1-building-out-your-webinar-topic\" target=\"_blank\">interact with your Lobby<\/a>. <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">(Also,\u00a0<\/span>audio quality may be reduced depending on individuals&#8217; bandwidth.)<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">#2. Disable Doorbells<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Each time a participant is dialed-out to with integrated audio, a doorbell will chime to note their arrival.\u00a0<\/strong> You don\u2019t want that to happen if you have a few hundred participants who will utilize the dial-out option. \u00a0That much chiming will become a huge distraction? \u00a0<strong>How do you avoid this issue?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Simply disable the doorbells of your audio platform!<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In Click&amp;Meet you can do so quite easily.\u00a0 On the bar above the main window, you\u2019ll find a \u201cBell\u201d icon.\u00a0 Turn your room doorbells on and off by clicking on this icon.\u00a0 Alternatively, you can toggle your doorbell on and off by entering the command <strong>Ctrl+Alt+b<\/strong> or with your phone by pressing <strong>*47#<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">#3. Place all Participants on Mute<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Engagement is an essential ingredient of successful online events.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong> But having participants interjecting their thoughts during your webinar is not desirable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Make sure you\u2019ve muted all participants on your main conference line.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In\u00a0Click&amp;Meet you have a few options to mute all participants.\u00a0 You can either click the microphone icon with a red bar running through it, at left.\u00a0 Or, you can use the command <strong>Ctrl+Alt+m. <\/strong>Or, lastly, use your phone and press *4#.\u00a0 Anyone who calls in will automatically be muted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>From within your webinar room, make sure you\u2019ve also disabled participant microphones. \u00a0Check out our <span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #bb2025;\" href=\"https:\/\/meetingone.adobeconnect.com\/_a41854534\/p2bdkb2vsq8\/?launcher=false&amp;fcsContent=true&amp;pbMode=normal\" target=\"_blank\">short tutorial<\/a> <\/strong><\/span>that can help explore your webinar room\u2019s audio options.<\/h4>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">#4. Audio &amp; Webcam Testing<br \/>\n<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-7180 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Webinar-Agenda-Blog-Image-10-300x212.png\" alt=\"webinar checklist\" width=\"320\" height=\"226\" \/><strong>Getting the technical aspects of your webinar sorted out is an absolute must.\u00a0<\/strong> And it has to happen early.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Test your audio.<\/strong>\u00a0 Start audio for your webinar in the virtual room while participants are on hold. \u00a0With MeetingOne as your provider, we can provision your virtual rooms so they are automatically <strong><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><a style=\"color: #bb2025;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/eu-en\/adobe-connect\/audio-integration\/\" target=\"_blank\">integrated with audio<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ensure that the audio of your conference line is coming through your virtual room.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>If the audio is good, test your <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">webcam<\/span> to make sure the connection is strong and glitch free.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">After you\u2019ve tested your webcam, don\u2019t stop sharing quite yet.\u00a0 Have your speaker smile for the camera, then pause their webcam. \u00a0Doing so places a friendly face in your Lobby!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">#5. \u201cShow Only Questions Assigned to Me\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7181 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Webinar-Agenda-Blog-Image-11.png\" alt=\"webinar checklist\" width=\"218\" height=\"164\" \/><strong>Depending on your topic, you may wind up having a lot of questions directed to your team.\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #bb2025;\">Make sure to direct the right ones to your speaker.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the Presenter Only Area of Adobe Connect, the questions being asked in the Q&amp;A Pod will be displayed.\u00a0 As a host, you can assign questions to those team members assisting you, including your speaker. \u00a0Make sure each person sets their Q&amp;A Pod status to &#8220;Show My Questions.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>When you come upon a question that would be best answered by your speaker, assign it to them.<\/strong>\u00a0 If they have set their view of the Q&amp;A Pod to \u201cShow My Questions,\u201d they will see only the questions you think they should answer.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">#6. Ensure that the Most Recent Takeaway is Uploaded<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Make sure the latest version of your event takeaway &#8211; with all those meticulous corrections you\u2019ve made &#8211; has been uploaded into your virtual room.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In Adobe Connect, make sure you\u2019ve placed it in the File Share Pod.\u00a0 To ensure the takeaway is correct, highlight the file then click \u201cDownload.\u201d<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">#7. Briefly Run through Slides to Ensure They are Functioning Properly<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>With only 30 minutes available before the webinar to review everything, you no longer have the time to take a detailed look at your slides.\u00a0 The purpose of this final review is to make sure each slide functions correctly.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">#8. Take Participants off Hold 15 Minutes before Start Time<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #bb2025;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/blog\/webinar-dry-run-agendas-pt-2-cementing-your-webinar-presentation\" target=\"_blank\">In the second part of this series<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, we shared with you a step-by-step guide for placing participants on hold with Adobe Connect.\u00a0 Doing so allows you to keep your attendees out of your virtual room before the webinar starts.<\/p>\n<p>About 15 minutes before your webinar is scheduled to start, remove the\u201cHold\u201d and let your participants enter.\u00a0 <strong>Fifteen minutes gives your attendees time to interact with the Lobby you\u2019ve developed. \u00a0Their interactions can provide you insights into understanding of the topic you&#8217;re presenting.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Removing the \u201cHold\u201d is done through the same process as placing it.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright wp-image-7183\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Webinar-Agenda-Blog-Image-12-300x257.png\" alt=\"webinar checklist timer\" width=\"300\" height=\"257\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">#9. Activate Countdown Timer<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Once you\u2019ve opened your webinar to your eager participants, activate the countdown timer.<\/strong>\u00a0 The timer, as <span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #bb2025;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/blog\/building-your-webinar-storyboard\/\" target=\"_blank\">previously discussed<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, keeps your audience informed to the amount of time they have until the webinar begins.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">\u00a0#10.\u00a0Start Recording<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>When the scheduled time of your webinar arrives, go ahead and start recording your event.\u00a0<\/strong> Always record your webinars.\u00a0 Webinar recordings should be provided to your attendees for their review\u2014it\u2019s an important aspect of your <span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #bb2025;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/blog\/sending-the-follow-up-after-a-webinar\/\" target=\"_blank\">webinar thank you email<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">#11.
