Dialing out can be more convenient for some users, as it tends to be the simpler way of getting people on the phone.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><strong>Having participants dial in, though, tends to be cheaper, but it also often places the expense on your participants.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Review your CDRs each month to analyze how your international expenses are adding up.<\/strong>\u00a0 Depending on your use case, certain options may be preferable over the others.\u00a0\u00a0You can always <strong><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/eu-en\/contact-us\/\" target=\"_blank\">consult with us<\/a><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0to determine the lowest cost dialing option and any dialing limitations imposed.\u00a0 We can also advise you on other factors, such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Rate variance between different countries<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">When you may want to consult service providers to learn about any imposed dialing limitations<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Availability of local toll numbers in certain countries<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Get More Detailed with Billing Codes<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Need to re-bill clients for calls made on their behalf?\u00a0 Managing high volumes of conference calls?\u00a0 Add billing codes to your conference calling practices to provide more detail to your expense reporting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you are an account administrator in OAM<\/strong>, you can manage the billing code validation rules for your MeetingOne account, and the room Hosts under that umbrella.\u00a0 All of this can be done from the \u201cBilling Codes\u201d under your \u201cDefault Settings\u201d window.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If it fits your use case, you can mandate hosts to enter a pre-designated billing code with their PIN before they enter their audio room.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are two options for doing so:<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\">Allowed Billing Codes<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>If you have preset codes you want all hosts to use, utilize the \u201cAllowed\u201d option.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">#1. Under the column \u201cSubmit your new billing codes,\u201d select the circle beside \u201cAllowed.\u201d<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-7069 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/OAM-Account-Billing-Codes-300x204.png\" alt=\"Billing code bliss for conference call billing management\" width=\"500\" height=\"340\" \/><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">#2. Press the \u201cSet Codes\u201d button.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900; text-decoration: underline;\">Your hosts can now only use these select codes.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\">Disallowed Billing Codes<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>If you want your users to have some flexibility in designating their own codes but have certain codes that are off limits, utilize the \u201cDisallowed\u201d option.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">#1. Select the circle beside \u201cDisallowed\u201d in the \u201cSubmit your new billing codes\u201d column.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">#2. Enter the codes you <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>do not<\/em><\/span> want to be used in the large text box to the left.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">#3. Press the \u201cSet Codes\u201d button.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900; text-decoration: underline;\">Your hosts will be unable to use these codes.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h6><strong>(Note: Billing codes can only be between 4 to 20 characters in length.)<\/strong><\/h6>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>For those of who are at the Host\/Room User level, here is\u00a0a pair of quick how-tos for associating billing codes with your audio room:<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\">Click&amp;Meet<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Many people like to set up billing codes just before a call begins.<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6919 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/1-CM-Billing-Codes-300x170.png\" alt=\"Click&amp;Meet Billing Code for better conference call billing management\" width=\"300\" height=\"170\" \/>\u00a0 <strong>You can do so from your audio room with Click&amp;Meet:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">#1. Enter your MeetingOne audio room before a call.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">#2. Click the Barcode icon at the top.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">#3. A new window will appear.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">#4. Enter your pre-determined billing code in window\u2019s form field, then select &#8220;Save.&#8221;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #bb2025;\">OAM<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Using OAM, you can avoid having to re-enter the code each time you make a call.\u00a0 <strong><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6920 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meetingone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/1-OAM-Billing-Codes-3-269x300.png\" alt=\"OAM Billing Code better conference call billing management\" width=\"269\" height=\"300\" \/><span style=\"color: #333333;\">If you are an audio room administrator, you can set a default billing code for the room and line:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">#1. Go to the Settings tab within OAM.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">#2. Locate the column that lists all of the \u201cIn Call Features.&#8221;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">#3. Locate the \u201cDefault Billing Code\u201d field\u2014it is near the bottom, just below the \u201cLanguage\u201d drop-down menu.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">#4.
